The Leech Lake Tribal College Comprehensive Plan updates previous master plans and clarifies the College’s goals for future growth and land use. The campus-wide plan is based on the college’s commitment to teach in the setting of Ojibwe values and is a living document that will be updated and revised while establishing new campus planning goals and academic initiatives. This scenario for campus growth is ambitious and in line with the College’s goal to be the premiere regional Tribal College. Phasing and future land acquisitions would guide long-term growth strategies. The Comprehensive Plan allows for incremental growth as the college expands its academic programs and student population. As growth occurs, new additions to the campus can occur strategically to support the organizing spatial principles of the master plan.
