The Red Lake Nation longhouse will serve as a community gathering space for meetings, feasts, movies, and ceremonies. Based on the concept of a traditional Ojibwe longhouse, the facility will provide outdoor covered gathering spaces, a gallery, recreation room, commercial kitchen, offices and other support spaces. The facility will be located in the heart of the Red Lake Nation community adjacent to the Tribal College and Government center with direct views to the pow wow grounds and the waters of Red Lake.
