Snoqualmie Hotel & Convention Center
Snoqualmie, Washington
Full Circle and Cuningham teamed to provide facility expansion planning and cultural design visioning for the Snoqualmie Tribe’s gaming property. This effort included concept design for a gaming floor expansion, new hotel, new conference center, additional parking, and related amenity developments. The Tribe consists of a group of Coast Salish Native American peoples from the Puget Sound area of Washington State that had communities throughout the region including many long houses along the Snoqualmie River and its tributaries. The design honored the culture and history of the Snoqualmie people and its relationship to the lands near the sacred Snoqualmie Falls and Mount Si. Modern, but warm cultural expression included forms, materials, and cultural stories embedded and woven into the architecture.
