“Where the is Water, there is Life; Where there is Life, there is Culture.”

The community design for the Tachi Yokut Tribe organizes three new neighborhoods (300 homes) around historic and regenerated waterways. The neighborhoods are connected to each other with trails and pedestrian friendly streets. Cultural elements are woven into all aspects of the Plan - the open spaces, the tribal buildings, the private lots and homes, and the landscape. The community will reintroduce a culturally specific plant palette. It will be used to support education, recreation, habitat and healthy living.
